Wake Up 06:41
You buy, comply To fit into this void that takes your life The trends and friends The virtual world of egos never ends CHORUS Wake up! From this suspended animation Wake up! It’s an open invitation Take a look inside my head There’s a kaleidoscope Can you find the shapes of hope? You strive, survive This evil haunts you down screws with your mind The flesh, the skin And all the senses that won’t let you win CHORUS
2.
Hush now pretty baby don’t you cry Momma’s gonna love ya and dad will try Make you understand the reason why You are here to change this crazy lie Hush now angel, hide inside your dreams Love and hate are closer than it seems Illusions meant to be so they divide It is a bumpy ride so hold on tight CHORUS I wanna see the world through your eyes Figure a way out I wanna find out if there is a choice I wanna see this life through your eyes Keep me moving on There’s nothing that can’t be undone
3.
You better run, you better hide Cause they are back in town They’ll steal the sun, they’ll kill your smile And gonna keep you down CHORUS Watching and waiting Anticipating To get ahead in this life Do or die An eye for an eye The only way to survive They’ll say you’re crazy They’ll say you’re lazy Dark souls full of pride Forget their rules It’s only for fools Take the money and run You fight for good you fight for right They don’t seem to care Now shut their mouth and tie them tight It is time to go somewhere CHORUS
4.
Rock Is Dead 05:52
We’re sick and tired of mediocrity That’s pushed around on every chance A shiny bubble of supremacy And masses clap while in a trance You say that “change is copy what’s on the radio” You must be joking when you Turn around, smile and tell me: “Rock is dead” You lose your soul in chasing numbers Like chasing shadows in the dark Degrade a generation’s consciousness In the name of your forsaken god Don’t even try to hide it Makes such a perfect sense now When hungry vultures like you Scream into my face and tell me: “Rock is dead” BRIDGE Will you sing along tonight with me “rock n’ roll is here to stay”? I don’t see a reason to explain You won’t see the reason why. “Rock is dead”…

6.
You took my heart, you want my soul now I have been waiting for so long Now watch me fall from grace Cuz of your pretty face CHORUS I’ve been abused, I’ve been confused You left me cryin’ Your evil eyes keep telling lies There’s no denyin’ Must set a lock upon your lips No key to find I’m running out of time I’m running out of mind You had me walk the Fools’ Parade I joined your merry masquerade My love was all in vain You made me bleed again CHORUS
7.
Close your eyes, imagine you can fly Hold your breath, imagine you can die Shed a tear for all whose life’s destroyed my dear Light a fire and burn the past in its entire Seeking love, a love that’s turned to greed Left alone, in fields of dreams to sleep Devour your pride, you feel the warmth turn into cold Compress your pain, forgetting what the world was told CHORUS Don’t fade away Your blood of ice will leave no trace Don’t run in place You race against your finish line Open your eyes, you know that you can fly Catch your breath, don’t fall without a fight Turn your back to all of those who laugh at you dear Make a stand, or else our hopes will die in fear.

Reset 08:20
I had a dream last night That I had an eagle’s eyes Watching for broken souls In the circus of this world CHORUS Globe was turning Yearning, yearning Never learning how to love Oceans blood red Raindrops of pain Numbers in place of fallen names If only we could Reset the whole game The songs of true happiness would only remain. I had a dream last night That there was no hope in sight Debt was too high to pay No matter how hard we tried… CHORUS

about

Babelonia is our second, much anticipated album.
This album was recorded the good ol' analog way and mastered as well with the "war on loudness" in mind, keeping the dynamics intact without squeezing the hell out of the recording's life.
In this record everything is played by a person.
No loops, no sequences, no tricks, just good hard work at playing an instrument.
LISTEN TO THE RECORD!

about

Sonar Lights Fort Worth, Texas

A rock trio from Fort Worth (Texas, USA) whose sound is an unapologetic punch in the face for fans of early heavy metal and late 70's/early 80's progressive rock. Their mighty, crunchy guitar riffs together with their pummeling rhythmic textures and dynamic melodic vocals are laced with old school elements while still maintaining the focus of a modern band.
